At ACE Mystery Shopping, we use Melio to process all shopper payments. Here's the quick rundown:

Payments are processed monthly, covering the previous month's completed shops. We begin processing in the first few days of the month, with most payments issued by the end of the first week and guaranteed by the 15th.
📍 STEP 1: Payment Setup Email from Melio
❓️ What to Expect:
- You'll receive a payment setup email DIRECTLY FROM MELIO (our payment processor)
🗓️ When to Expect it:
- IMPORTANT: This email WILL NOT be sent until we START processing payments
- The email will be sent when we start processing payments, which is the first few days of the month
- Hint: I'll send you a personal email to let you know when we're about to start processing, so you can watch for the Melio payment setup email.
Q: Why can’t I input my account numbers earlier?
A: Our payment process is manual. Payment data is first imported from our mystery shopping software into the accounting system, then synced with Melio. This process starts only after all payables are finalized in the first few days of each month. Processing individually could lead to errors or missed shoppers, so handling everything at once ensures accuracy. We are working on streamlining this process, but for now, this approach is necessary.

EVEN IF you have payment method info in your GigSpot account:
- YOU MUST complete the Melio payment setup
- Our system CANNOT talk to Melio directly
- You MUST still follow the Melio email instructions
